בדיוק היום לפני חמישים שנה הוקמה NASA - National Aeronautics and Space Administration - סוכנות התעופה והחלל הלאומית של ארצות הברית. מידע על ההיסטוריה של הסוכנות , פיתוחיה המרשימים במהלך חמישים שנות פעילותה , כולל תמונות וסרטים שונים ניתן למצוא באתר מיוחד שהוקם לכבוד יובל החמישים.

NASA celebrates 50 years

NASA - National Aeronautics and Space Administration was founded exactly today fifty years ago. Everyonew knows what NASA is and what it symbolizes to mankind in regard to its adcances in space , technology and knowledge in general. To celebrate its 50th anniversary, NASA has launchesd a special section in its site dedicated to this special occasion. The new site contains many textual meterila, pictures and films from its history.
