תוספת של 80 אלף מנויי IPTV ל Telecom Italia

חברת Telecom Italia הודיעה, שבמחצית הראשונה של שנת 2008 שהסתיימה ב 30 ביוני נוספו לשירות ה IPTV שלה 80 אלף מנויים חדשים. Telecom Italia מקווים להגיע ל 300,000 מנויים עד סוף השנה ולעבור את FastWeb המתחרה העיקרית שלה באיטליה . ל FastWeb, שבבעלות חברת התקשורת הסווייצרית Swisscom יד כיום כ 230,000 מנויי IPTV .המתחרות העיקריות הנסופות בשוק ה IPTV האיטלקי הן Tiscali ו Wind Telecommunications

Telecom Italia has added 80,000 IPTV customers

Telecom Italia has added 80,000 IPTV customers during the first half of 2008, and had 180,000 subscribers on June 30th. Telecom Italia is aiming at  300,000 subscribers by the end of this year and is getting close to catching FastWeb , its main local competitor . FastWeb, which is now owned by Swisscom, is believed to have around 230,000 IPTV subscribers .Other main players in the Italian IPTV market are Tiscali and Wind Telecommunications .
