New Indian and Chinese DTH platforma for Europe

A new Direct-to-Home platform called Spize TV DTH has soft launched in Europe on Eurobird 9 (degree East). Actually it is Spize TV DTH that launched DAN Tamil Ozhi Lanka (anti-Eelam channel), TV Lanka and B4U Music free-to-air on Eurobird 9 on 16/11-2007.

It is an Indian company called ORG Informatics who has invested about 10 million Euro in Spize TV DTH, and they are going to launch a Northindian package of channels (Punjabi, Hindi, Urdu, Gujarati, etc), a Southindian package of channels (Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada and Sinhala), and a Chinese package called Tiger. Most channels will become pay-TV, but some channels will also be free-to-air on this DTH. The company is going to launch about 60 channels before November 2009.

ARY Network channels have allready joined Spize TV DTH, and it is also expected that Jaya TV, Raj TV, TBO and other channels are going to join
