ESPN will launch ESPNews HD

ESPN will launch ESPNews HD on March 30th. Not only will the channel be ESPN’s third high definition network, it will make use of the widescreen (16:9) format of high definition by presenting new innovations in news and statistics delivery.

Along with the traditional use of a bottom bar to display information, an integrated top and left side bar will display news, graphics, headshots, and scores.

The channel will begin broadcasting from a new studio and set inside ESPN’s digital center
